How to Run D2D Sales with Roof Manager

1

Define your territory

Open the D2D dashboard and draw a polygon around the neighbourhood you're canvassing, or select by postal code. Assign reps to specific territories so no one overlaps and every street gets covered.

2

Load storm or age data (optional)

For storm-chase campaigns, overlay the hail swath from your weather feed. For retail, import tax-roll or parcel age data and filter for roofs 18+ years old — these convert 3× better than cold blocks.

3

Knock and log in one tap

Every rep has the mobile app open on their phone. Each pin turns into a disposition in one tap: Not Home, Follow-Up, Appointment, Sold, Not Interested. Pins change colour so the rep never re-knocks the same house.

4

Measure on the porch

Homeowner opens the door? While you're introducing yourself, tap "Measure this roof" — you'll have total area, pitch, and a rough material list right there. Show them the satellite trace on your phone. This alone closes appointments.

Pro tip: Reps who measure on the porch book 2.4× more inspections than reps who say "I'll email you later."
5

Book the inspection on the spot

Tap "Book Appointment" — the homeowner sees your live calendar and picks a slot. It syncs to your Google/Outlook calendar automatically and creates a Pipeline card in the CRM.

6

Hand off cleanly to the closer

When the inspection happens, the closer walks up already knowing the roof area, age, damage notes, and the rep's conversation history. No lost sticky notes. No "who talked to this guy last Tuesday?"

7

Coach from the data

Manager dashboard shows per-rep knocks, contacts, appointments, and close rate in real time. Use it in your morning huddle — the reps who measure on the porch, book on the porch, and log every door win. The data proves it so you don't have to.
